Our little farm store is open year-round from 8am-7pm Monday thru Friday and 8am-4pm on Saturday. Most of our meat is sold through our CSA so if you are looking for a specific cut we encourage you to call or email us first. Normally we have some cuts of pork, beef bones and beef organs, and some cuts of lamb. Late Fall and Winter are generally when we have the most supply and summer the least. We also have some eggs available (March-October) in our store and shiitake mushrooms (May-October). In the future we hope to have garlic, asparagus, berries, fruit, and nuts available seasonally as well from the farm.
CSA
Our CSA program involves monthly pickups of meat (year-round) as well as some bi-weekly shares of eggs and mushrooms during the warmer months (May-Oct). We have pickup locations here at the farm, at the Horn Farm Center near York, and on Mulberry St in Lancaster. Check out our CSA page for more details.
All meat is USDA inspected, vacuum-sealed, and frozen. These prices represent the cost of production for organically-fed and regeneratively raised food while delivering a small profit on a small farm. We are working to implement a number of long-term solutions that will bring our costs of production down and result in even healthier, happier animals (think trees full of fruit, nuts, and forage!). In the meantime, not every one can afford the cost of this food and we want to work to make it more affordable where we can. We accept SNAP/EBT benefits and we are happy to barter. If these prices are out of reach, please contact us and we can try to make things work. And if you do make a comfortable wage, we ask that you pay full price. Thanks!
